TRAGEDY STRIKES PRINCETON FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Princeton Fire Department is in mourning after suffering the tragic loss of one of our own on November 12th, 2021. Deputy Chief John “Kenny” Crutcher, honorably served in Princeton as a part-time Fire Marshal and Deputy Chief of Administration and Support since 2013. In his full- time career he served as a Captain in the Dallas Fire Department. He was also a decorated combat veteran serving as the First Sergeant for the Army National Guard, 3rd Battalion, 144th Infantry Regiment, Bravo Company. He was a dedicated father, loving husband, brother, son, and friend. His life was filled through the serving of others, protecting his brothers and sisters in the fire service, and most importantly placing a priority on his family and loved ones.
Princeton Fire Department will be working with members of the Dallas Fire Department in supporting his family while they deal with their loss. We are asking that you keep the Crutcher family in your thoughts and prayers. His leadership, friendship, and his humor will be missed. Arrangements for services and memorial are pending.
God rest his soul. Thank you,
Chief Harvey
