PRINCETON, TEXAS: The City of Princeton is excited to welcome Casey Donahew as its headlining performer at the 2023 July Spectacular on Saturday, July 1st! Other musical guests include opening act Big Joe Walker and Princeton native Shelby Ballenger. Attendees can expect some exciting changes to this year’s event as the city continues to grow, including the date itself.
“This is the first year that the July Spectacular will not be on July 3rd,” said Stephanie O’Brien, Director of Community Events. “This is my twelfth year doing this event, and Princeton is finally big enough that we don’t have to compete with bigger cities for attendance.”
The most notable change to this year’s July Spectacular is the $5 admission fee in lieu of a parking fee. Children aged 5 and under get free admission but will still need a ticket to enter to ensure an accurate attendance count. Admission includes parking, the Kids Zone, and musical performances.
“We hope to have around 8,000 attendees this year,” said O’Brien.
