Fall Sweep

2022 Fall Sweep is scheduled for October 14th – 16th.

Princeton is a proud affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful!

Through Keep Princeton Beautiful, every fall there is a Fall Sweep. This Sweep is open to families, organization, businesses, or any group interested in creating a positive impact within the community.

Fall Sweep takes place over the course of a few days in order to allow groups to coordinate at times which work for best for them and practice appropriate social distancing. The city offers supplies to those participating! Gloves, trash bags, grabbers, and vests.

Not sure where to clean up? This Interactive Trash Free Texas Map is typically used for Adopt-A-Spot but can also be utilized to view areas in need of regular litter pick-up.

How to get involved:

  • Choose a location in Princeton.
  • Register your group through our forum. Be as specific as possible.
  • Complete Volunteer Waiver Form.
  • Contact us about any equipment you may need and when you can pick it up from Public Works at 255 E Monte Carlo Blvd, Princeton, TX 75407, this will be confirmed with Mary Abercrombie.

Sweep your chosen location! It’s best to arrive dressed appropriately for the weather. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are highly recommended. We also recommend bringing water and wearing sunscreen.

Please send in your Impact Report up to three days after Sweep.

Thank you for Keeping Princeton Beautiful!
