Overview
The Water Division is responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of all water lines, valves and fire hydrants. The City of Princeton has approximately twenty-four miles of water lines throughout the city. The Water Division performs daily sampling required by the State of Texas to provide safe drinking water to the customer.
The City of Princeton purchases treated water from the North Texas Municipal Water District. The water is stored in two ground storage tanks until it is pumped to our elevated water tower. Water is then distributed to Princeton citizens and non-residential customers.
