Commending an Employee

If you see a Police Department employee perform outstanding work, tell the employee – or tell us – about it. Following are suggestions for commending an employee:

  • Write a letter or note to the employee’s supervisor or Police Chief at:
                Princeton Police Department
                306 Main Street
                Princeton, Texas 75407
  • Call the Police Department at 972-736-3901 and ask to speak with the employee’s supervisor or Police Chief.
  • Contact the Princeton Police Department by sending an e-mail to chief@princetonpd.com

All commendations are logged and placed in the employee’s permanent personnel file.

If you are unsure of the employee’s name, describe the employee and list the specific actions or demeanor that impressed you. Including the date, time and location the incident occurred will be very helpful in forwarding the commendation to the right employee(s).
