A “variance” is a request to appeal regulations set forth in the City of Princeton’s Zoning Ordinance. Variance requests typically involve such issues as setback requirements for houses and other buildings. Requests are submitted to the City’s Development Services Department. The requests are reviewed and acted on by the Zoning Board of Adjustments, which is comprised of the City Council Members. The ZBA meets on an as-needed basis at 6:30pm on the 2nd or 4th Tuesday of the month.
