Elections
The City Secretary serves as the Chief Election Official for the City of Princeton.
The City of Princeton contracts through the Collin County Elections Office to conduct their elections.
City Elections shall be conducted in accordance with the Texas Election Code. The regular City Election shall be held annually on the first Saturday in May or such other date, as required by the Texas Election Code. Sample ballots identical in format shall be posted in the voting place (s) for the purpose of voter orientation. All municipal elections shall be publicized in accordance with the Texas Election Code.
YR 2010: An Election is hereby ordered to be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010, for the purpose of electing three (3) Council members one for Place No. 3, one for Place No. 4 and one for Place No. 5, to fill the expiring terms on the Princeton City Council, and each such term being for a period of two (2) years.
