Victim's Assistance
The Princeton Police Department is dedicated to providing services to crime victims and their families. Our goal is to reduce the short and long-term effects relating to the traumatic experiences of being a victim of a violent crime.
Services provided include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assistance in filing for crime victim compensation;
- Crisis intervention;
- Notification of crime victims’ rights;
- Referrals for emergency shelter, emergency financial assistance, counseling, and medical services.
