NOTICE:  Texas Farm to Market (FM) 75 (North 4th Street) in Princeton, Texas will be under construction effectively immediately.  The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) improvement project is expected to conclude in mid-December 2007.  Both north and southbound lanes will be closed to thru-traffic during the project.  TxDOT is working with the effected residents to provide access to homes and businesses, and the postal service has made arrangements for mail delivery.  Motorists should obey the posted signage for detours and truck routes.  Announcements regarding school traffic will be posted prior to the start of the new school year.  Questions may be directed to TxDOT at 972.542.2461 or to the Princeton Police Department at 972.736.3901.  Please drive safely in and around construction zones.  7/16/07

The Street Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, alleys and drainage systems. The Street Division rebuilds asphalt streets; makes minor concrete street and alley repairs; builds and repairs sections of sidewalk and curbs; cleans drainage ditches and culverts.
