Welcome to the Princeton Fire Department

Our Fire Department serves roughly thirty-nine square miles of incorporated city, and unincorporated county area. We currently have one central station housing twelve pieces of apparatus. The Department has thirty-one trained firefighters, most of whom hold an emergency medical certification with the State of Texas. These volunteers spend many hours of their own personal time serving the community, training, and responding to over 1,300 emergency calls annually. Our goal is to provide an effective, well trained team of professionals to be there when called upon. In addition to responding to emergencies, our firefighters provide public education programs and assists the Fire Marshals Office with fire prevention initiatives. The Princeton Fire Department currently holds an Insurance Services Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification (PPC) rating of 4. Mission Statement

To provide the City of Princeton and the surrounding community with a qualified team of trained professionals who's primary focus is to protect life, property, and the environment through public education, fire prevention, and emergency scene management.
