Police Chief James Waters

James Waters is the Chief of Police for the Princeton Police Department. He has been with the City of Princeton since 2004. He is responsible for the day to day operations for the police department while working closely with the other departments in the city. Chief Waters works closely with the citizens of Princeton to minimize crime and maximize the quality of life within Princeton. Chief Waters is a graduate from the Leadership Command College Class #68. Chief of Police jwaters@princetonpd.com

Please check our site often to get up-to-date information and news from the Princeton Police Department.   Princeton Police Department After normal business hours, if you need assistance, please call the Collin County Sheriff’s Department at 972-736-3555, who will dispatch a Princeton Police Officer. In the event of an emergency, dial 9-1-1. The City of Princeton Police Department will be concentrating their efforts on clearing up all pending warrants. If you wish to avoid embarrassment and the expense of arrest, contact the Princeton Municipal Court and pay your fines. Princeton Municipal Court 972-736-2416
